Founder

Hey! I'm Saakshi and I'm from India. I spent the last 5 years in Kyiv, Ukraine and it's a place where I got to meet people with a rich culture they were eager to share. Soon after the war, it became clear that the youth had a major role to play in political activism and that our access to technology could change the course of events. This included donating to on-ground organizations, volunteering for online workshops, or simply educating those around me on current events. I hope that the curated resources on this website can provide people like me with the resources to get involved in change.

I’m Anna, from Ukraine. I was born in Lviv and raised in Kyiv. My family has moved around a bit, and currently I am a 12th grade student at Kyiv International School. I believe politics should receive more attention from the youth than they currently do, and political activism is necessary to give any change the right direction. I was in Ukraine at the time Russia’s full-scale invasion began and have not stopped bringing political awareness to my own community since: from creating posters in support of Ukraine to raise humanitarian aid donations and volunteering to give lessons at a community center for Ukrainian displaced families in Bucharest to simply sharing reliable regular news on my Instagram story. Besides, my art and photography allows me to communicate a wide spectrum of ideas to various communities.

Hello everyone! My name is Agata and I'm from Poland. I lived in Ukraine for past four years and made a lot of memories there. Now, I believe that in the time of need all of us can help Ukraine by supporting our organization and making a small change.

Hello I’m Grace! I’m sixteen years old, I’m half Hungarian and half American and I used to live in Ukraine. I used to attend Kyiv International School (KIS) but now I am attending the American International School of Budapest (AISB). Though I only lived in Ukraine for about a year and a half, I really enjoyed living there and I miss Kyiv very much. As a foreigner, I absolutely loved learning about the rich culture and meeting the incredibly hospitable and kind people (and of course eating the yummy food). When the war broke out, I felt lost as to how I could help as I didn’t have access to any resources, and as a minor, my options were limited. So, I’m glad to be on board the Act For team and I’m excited to be helping with the Ukraine Project!
